Soldier On

What is it? Founded in 2012, Soldier On is a charity that allows Australians to show their support for physically and psychologically wounded men and women of our defence forces. It was born after John Bale lost a friend in an IED blast in Afghanistan. He found there was no easy way for members of the defence forces or the public to show their support for those wounded in battle.

Where your money goes: Every dollar you donate goes towards programs to help our wounded warriors. It is independent of government and relies on donations from generous Australians. Your donation helps fund rehabilitation programs and equipment, as well as education, employment and empowerment. These programs help ensure they live fulfilling lives and overcome the challenges.

How to donate: Donate by visiting soldieron.org.au, volunteer your time, hold a fundraiser or raise funds by participating in an event. Soldier On recently launched a new partnership with Tough Mudder, which the charity hopes will highlight the benefit of physical activity in successful rehabilitation.
