Royal Adelaide Hospital Research Fund

What is it? The fund is the official fundraising office of the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Over the past 30 years, the fund has raised more than $48 million to support medical researchers at the RAH, the Hanson Institute, South Australia Pathology and the Centre for Cancer Biology.

Where your money goes: 80 cents from $1 donated goes straight to medical research while the remaining 20 cents is used for secure financial record storage, wages, compliance fees and other administrative costs. The funds used for medical research that could lead to breakthroughs in the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of diseases such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Your donation will also go towards the provision of the most up-to-date equipment, an essential component for research projects undertaken at the RAH.
