This month we ask Justine Davies from Canstar where she would invest $5000.

First up, this is not advice but simply my opinion for my personal situation.

Having covered that, any spare $5000 that I had would be salary sacrificed into my super fund.

invest $5000

At the moment my super contributions are being directed into Australian shares to take advantage of current market volatility.

For Australian share investment, I particularly like exchange traded funds as I can easily diversify any amount of money and, at the moment, I'm keen on the iShares S&P/ASX 200 ETF offered by BlackRock.

The fees and performance pass muster, and the product is designed to reflect the performance of the largest 200 companies in the domestic market.
