What is MoneySmart?

Developed by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), teaching.moneysmart.gov.au provides professional and personal learning programs and resources for teaching and learning.

It also has resources to assist parents to provide their children with a good consumer and financial education.

What you'll find

It offers a variety of consumer and financial literacy education tools that include videos and web-based and print-based resources.

You can refine your teaching resource search to specific school year levels, learning areas and audiences.

Why we like it

Students can develop the knowledge, understanding, skills and behaviours to organise their personal finances, behave as responsible consumers, generous donors, wise investors and creative entrepreneurs.

The program is also endorsed by Money's chairman and chief commentator, Paul Clitheroe, who is also chairman of the Australian Government Financial Literacy Board.
