Alex Moffatt is a 40-year veteran of financial markets, having traded at the sharp end of the wholesale market in interest rates and foreign exchange and most recently in the retail space in equities. Between 1987 and 1998 he worked in London, principally for National Australia Bank and Schroders, and has worked in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Alex qualified from RMIT in business and Melbourne University in international finance law, and in later years completed a graduate diploma of financial planning. In 2002 Alex joined Joseph Palmer and Sons, investment managers, stockbrokers and aged care advisers.
